Thank you, Kelly.
This is fantastic! Thank you for giving us a presentation designed for the non-researcher. Very informative, engaging and helpful. I’ve always believed a yoga practice (whatever that looks like) must be enjoyable and consistent in order to be effective. Therefore, there is not a solid ‘formula’ that works for everyone. I look forward to attending SYR later this month representing my program, ChildLight Yoga (www.childlightyoga.com) and Yoga 4 Classrooms (www.yoga4classrooms.com) and IASYM (International Association of School Yoga and Mindfulness: http://www.k-12yoga.org). I hope to meet you there Dr. Mcgonigal.
Kelly :
Good job elucidating the role of MBSR in decoupling of Experiential and Evaluational systems and coupling of Awareness and Acceptance . Special thanks for using the phrase ‘dropping the narrative’ a few times .
I hope I make your day (I intend to) by saying this : Words fall short to describe how I feel for you for what you do for humanity . Thanks bunches !
This was a very interesting video. I personally agree that yoga works better for my anxiety than the medications ever did.
